The Ava bracelet has a built-in Bluetooth signal. In order to transmit data from your bracelet to the app on your phone, your phone’s Bluetooth also needs to be switched on so that both devices recognize one another.
When you pair or sync the bracelet with the app, this pairing process uses that Bluetooth connection.
