The firmware of your Ava bracelet is updated automatically whenever there is a new firmware available. This update takes place right after data synchronization.
Another way to check whether you have the latest firmware on your Ava bracelet is to go to the “My Ava Bracelet” view and to tap “Update Firmware”. Then, follow the on screen instructions to update your firmware.
