Before bed, attach the Ava bracelet to your non-dominant wrist as you tend to move it less during the night. However, it is more important that you wear the bracelet on the same wrist every night for data collection consistency.

The white sensor pod should sit behind the wrist bone, flush to your skin. It should have direct contact to your skin. Tighten the band to a snug fit that doesn’t slide.

Wear the bracelet consistently for at least four hours during sleep.

When the bracelet’s sensors detect a disturbance (e.g. excessive amounts of body lotion over the area covered by the device or too bright an environment), that night’s data will not be processed so as to not confound your data. Make sure to use skin care products sparingly and wear the bracelet in a dark room.
